'Emergency Escape Drills' is a non compulsory course specially designed for ocean rowers to give them the confidence and skills to safely deal with an emergency situation. In particular a capsize situation.

A variation on helicopter 'ditching' drills that military personnel and offshore workers undertake, this course trains individuals to exit a crippled and capsized ocean rowing boat safely, in a variety of difficult situations.
